Love
suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not
parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely,
does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does
not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things,
believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
Love
never fails.
Don’t say a
friend’s problems are too difficult or painful for you to listen to. If they’re
that hard to hear, how much worse must they be to experience and process,
especially without help or council? Bear one another’s burdens; don’t give in
to emotional self-preservation at the expense of those who count on you. “Bear
all things, hope all things, believe all things.”
